Bamboo fabric is one of the softest fabrics on the planet, you will love the way it feels.

Bamboo plant has a antibacterial bioagent, that eliminates the need of pesticides and fertilizers, which is known to cause allergic reaction and is environmentally unfriendly.
Bamboo grass does not need a lot of extra watering and is more energy efficient than other plants used for fabric.

Bamboo is considered the most eco-friendly plant on planet, it has an extensive rooting system, that grows on average 5-6 new shoots a year, naturally replenishing itself. The most renewable resource on our planet, and provides an abundance of usable oxygen making it a crucial element in the balance between oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. A grove of bamboo releases 35% more oxygen than an equivalent stand of trees.

Bamboo viscose we use is:
  • Hypoallergenic. Natural bamboo does not cause allergic reactions.
  • Highly sweat absorbent, pulls moisture from skin for evaporation moisture wicking - keeps you dry.

Fabric care

Bamboo fabric will maintain its special qualities when washed in cold to warm water (up to 40 degrees celsius) with a gentle detergent, free of bleach.Use a gentle cycle for your bamboo garments. If possible, prefer hand wash.
Rub gently until clean. Air-dry for a best result.
Drying rack is preferred to keep the garments in a good shape.
Set your iron to its lowest setting.
Do not steam (makes noticeable rings on a garment).
Use environment-friendly washing liquids.

Underwear assortment should be refreshed every six months to a year.

Note: Donas underwear is made of natural fabrics and it will wear off sooner than other unnatural fabrics.  Let the bra rest between wears, so the elastane and elastic band  will last longer.

Leftover fabrics

We add garment sachets for underwear sets. The undies can be washed in these bags to protect the fabric.
To minimise waste, we print our labels/logos (by hand) on leftover fabric.

Thank You!
